Weekend Retro Buys

I indulged in a little retro shopping spree over the weekend. Beauty and the Beast looks like it's never been played, it's in perfect condition. I'm interested in seeing how that game plays. It's made by Hudson, which seems an odd pick for this type of game. I guess I think Hudson and I immediately think of Bomberman and Adventure Island. Next we've got Animaniacs for the Genesis. I'm guessing this is the same as the one that was released on Super NES back in the day, which I rented one weekend. I remember liking it, it's a standard platforming game, not too hard, but fun. I didn't beat it back in the day so I look forward to tackling it soon. Then we've got The Jungle Book, another Disney movie game. This one is once again from Virgin, the same developers behind Lion King and the Genesis version of Aladdin. If nothing else I'm sure it will look beautiful. Lastly is Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure for Genesis. I've played some other Tiny Toons games and liked them, so I thought this one was worth a try. Altogether it was about $12 for them, so no too bad at all.
