The Guardian Legend Fansite

I just stumbled across this site today and thought it'd be fun to share. I've been slowly making my way through The Guardian Legend for NES. This is a game that I've heard the title of, I've seen the box art, but I had never played and had absolutely no idea what kind of game it was. It's been a fun surprise discovering this genre mashup of vertical shooter and blaster master style top down map exploration, I've really never played a game quite like this!

In my online research to find out a little more about how best to play, I found The Guardian Legend Fansite! This is a site that still posts regularly, and is almost always talking about The Guardian Legend! Though they also talk about other classic retro games at times, they have all sorts of cool stuff here, and the latest post even has scans of what looks to be an old Japanese manga of the game! So cool!

I love finding more blogs dedicated to something so specific. I hope there's lots more out there like this, and I hope I find them. I'll be looking harder now!
