Resistance: Fall of Color
So I just finished up watching the latest 1Up Show, which featured an in-depth look at Insomniac's upcoming PS3 titles "Resistance: Fall of Man". I couldn't believe that for all the discussion they were having back and forth about the look of the game, comparing it to titles like Halo and Gears of War, that no on brought up on small little detail...

Seriously, did developer Insomniac accidentally leave the sepia tone filter on when they were making this game? The spectrum of color they use runs the entire gamut from gray to tan. Personally I was feeling pretty dulled out by the end of the ten minute preview, how would they expect me to play the game for god knows how many hours looking like that?
I suppose I just prefer games that throw in some color every now and then, like Oblivion or something. I realize that the usage of color in Oblivion is perhaps supposed to give everything a more serene look while this is supposed to be more gritty and war-like, bus still I seriously don't think I'd be able to stand looking at this game. Does this bother anybody else out there, or am I just blowing hot air?
