My poetic tribute to a Sam Hain toy

You might have realized from looking around this site that I'm a fan of the Ghostbusters. I'm also a huge fan of the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, and back when it aired on Saturday mornings my whole morning would revolve around their timeslot. I had tapes and tapes filled with episodes. And two of the most memorable episodes involved a certain spirit of Halloween. I speak of course, of Sam Hain.

He just looked awesome, so manacing! And of course, he WAS Halloween, and what kid wouldn't love that?? Unfortunately, none of the usual ghosts, with the exception of Stay Puft and Slimer, got toys in Kenner's Real Ghostbusters line. No Sandman, no Boogie Man, no Sam Hain.

BUT! The current minimates line of toys, which I usually don't care much for, have gone Ghostbusters crazy, and after doing a ton of toys from the two movies, they've moved into Real Ghostbusters territory, including...

SAM HAIN!! He may be tiny, but darn if they didn't get his face dead on! What a great tiny little Sam Hain figure he is! My inner child can finally have that pumpkin-headed action figure he's been craving for so long. In return, my inner child decided to break out the crayons and make a really crappy Haiku in honor of this momentous occasion!

Has anyone else been collecting minimates, specifically Ghostbuster ones? Which ones are your favorites?
