A comic and a painting!
Geez, it's been so long since I've written a blog in here, I've got to get back in the blogging habit here! Short post for today, but I thought I'd share some artwork I've been working on. First up is a short Sam and Max comic strip that was entered into Game|Life's contest. You can check out all the winners here, but I thought I'd post mine below, as I've moved some things around to make it more readable when reduced in size.
Also, back when I was gearing up to go to Katsucon in February, I did a painting of Midna on Wolf Link's back to take up and enter into the art show. I put a price on it for auction, but sadly it didn't sell. So now I'm putting up on Ebay to see if anyone in a slightly larger venue is interested. Click here or on the picture below to check out the auction.
I've got so many games right now that I can never believe it when I pick up yet another one. But with backwards compatibility on the 360 improved upon recently, I had to get myself a copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta. I haven' touched it yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it out. I'm almost finished with Super Paper Mario, which I hope to write about soon. I'll say this for it though, it can be tremendously enjoyable, but the slow bits can be downright tedious. The tediousness is compounded by the fact that many of these instances seem to be intentional, almost as if the developers are having a laugh at the player's expense. I'm not quite sure what to make of that. Overall though a very enjoyable game. I've got two badges in Pokemon Pearl, and I've really been sucked back into that world. For something that looks so simplistic there certainly is a great amount of depth to enjoy to that game. I'm about an hour into Halo, which is pretty fun so far. I stopped playing FFXII when I was only one third through, so I've got to go back there, as well.
Just so many games, and more coming all the time! I hope to blog again very soon about all things Ninja Turtles. See you then!
